Sony announced Monday Oscar-winner Brad Pitt's action-thriller “Bullet Train“ will open in theaters on April 8, 2022.
It also stars Joey King, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz, Michael Shannon, Logan Lerman, Masi Oka, and Andrew Koji.
“Bullet Train” is penned by Zak Olkewicz and helmed by David Leitch, the director of “Deadpool 2” and “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw”.
The production is based on the popular Japanese book, “Maria Beetle” by Kotaro Isaka. The novel revolves around a group of hitmen and assassins with conflicting motives on a train in Tokyo.

The studio also revealed that Jack Black and Ice Cube's comedy movie "Oh Hell No" will hit the big screen on July 1.
Kitao Sakurai directed from a screenplay written by Scot Armstrong, Tracy Oliver, Jessica Gao, and Rodney Rothman. Matt Tolmach is producing through Matt Tolmach Productions with Black and Roz Music.
"Oh Hell No" follows the relationship between Sherman (Black) and Will (Cube) after the former falls in love with the latter’s mom.
