Book Features Eye-Catching Images of Egypt

A newly-published book shows magnificent images of Egypt mixing among the ancient Egyptian pyramids and temples, the rushing cities, and the luxury beach resorts.

Egypt (Visual Explorer Guide), authored by Trevor Naylor, highlights how the country isn't only about its ancient civilization, but also about eye-catching beaches, scampering markets, and a rich Arab and Ottoman culture.

Trevor said: "Egypt's allure comprises a wide mixture of historical and cultural attractions, as well as beach-side holidays and the nation's greatest asset, its friendly and fun-loving people."

The stupendous pictures, selected by Trevor, include the pyramids, Tutankhamun's Tomb, Al-Azhar Park, West Bank of Luxor, Medinet Habu, Cave Church of Mokattam, Alexandria Sea Front, the Saladin Citadel and more stunning hotspots.

The author was keen on writing a caption for each image. The book is being sold on Amazon for about $15.

Naylor is a Yorkshire-born author who regards Egypt as his second home. He has explored every corner of the country and written several books about it, including Cairo Inside Out, Egypt Inside Out, and Living Normally: Where Life Comes Before Style.
