Bolivia has once again severed its diplomatic relations with Israel, as announced by the Bolivian government in a press conference on Tuesday.
This move comes in response to the ongoing Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip, which has been under a stringent blockade affecting the supply of water, food, medicine, and fuel.
Previously in 2009, Bolivia had cut off its diplomatic ties with Israel following attacks on Gaza.
However, the relations were renewed in 2019, a decade later. The recent resurgence of violence in the region has led Bolivia to take a stand once again, reverting to its previous stance of cutting off diplomatic engagements with Israel.
The continuous Israeli occupation has been launching attacks on Gaza for 24 consecutive days.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported on Tuesday that the toll from the ongoing Israeli military aggression in Gaza and the West Bank, since October 7, has risen to over 8,500 martyrs and more than 23,000 injured.
The report also highlighted that 73% of the martyrs in the Gaza Strip are children, women, and the elderly.
