US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, called on Monday for increasing the flow of aid to Gaza Strip to alleviate the humanitarian situation there.
In a statement, Blinken said, “the people of Gaza are in dire need of more food, water, and other aid,” stressing that the United States is working to deliver more aid to the Gaza Strip through all available channels.
US Vice President Kamala Harris had called on the Israeli government to implement an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, calling for strong pressure on Israel to increase the flow of aid to alleviate what she described as “inhuman” conditions and a “humanitarian catastrophe” among the Palestinian people.
