US Department of State reported early Tuesday that Antony Blinken discussed with his British counterpart, David Lammy, ways to de-escalate tensions in the Middle East, as well as the need to intensify diplomatic efforts to stabilize the region.
In a statement, the State Department mentioned that both ministers reaffirmed their joint efforts to avoid further escalation by reaching a ceasefire in Gaza and securing the release of detainees.
