US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will travel to Saudi Arabia, on a two-day official visit from June 6 to 8.
In a statment, US State Department spokesman Matthew Milner said that Blinken will discuss, during his talks with Saudi officials, "strategic cooperation" between both countries on regional and bilateral issues.
On Wednesday, Blinken will participate in a ministerial meeting held by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
On Thursday, he will participate in a meeting of the international coalition to combat ISIS in Riyadh.
