U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will meet his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi and other top Chinese officials on March 18 in Alaska, according to the White House.
The encounter would be the first of its kind under the U.S. president Joe Biden administration.
The meeting will take place on Blinken’s return from his first overseas trip to key U.S. partners Japan and South Korea.
