U.S. Department of State announced that Secretary Antony Blinken emphasized to Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant the necessity of delivering aid to Gaza in cooperation with the United Nations, expressing opposition to the continuation of Israeli military operations in Gaza.
"The continued military action in Gaza makes Israel weaker, as it complicates finding a solution in the north and increases instability in the West Bank," Matthew Miller, US State Department spokesman added.
Miller confirmed that the United States continues to fulfill Israel's weapon requests, although one shipment of heavy bombs has been suspended. He clarified that Netanyahu's statements regarding U.S. aid to Israel are not understood.
The U.S. Department of State indicated that Secretary Antony Blinken will emphasize to Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant the importance of Israel developing a strong and realistic plan for governing Gaza once the war ends.
