US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken confirmed today, Friday, that more than one billion dollars have been allocated annually to support youth in Africa, pointing out that more than 300 US and African companies participated in the activities of the US-Africa summit in Washington, DC.
Blinken made it clear that the United States will continue to work with partners on the African continent, indicating that his country will abide by its commitments and will follow up on all contracts.
Blinken also emphasized working to support solar power plants in the African continent.
Blinken emphasized that there is an inherent right for the African continent to determine its own destiny and options, and the United States is working closely to support these opportunities and options.
