U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated that the U.S. administration is strongly focused on advancing a ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
He added, "To reach a ceasefire in Gaza, we need a clear vision for the day after the war ends. It remains challenging to gather sufficient information to prove human rights violations during the war in Gaza."
Blinken continued, "Our assessment is that the ceasefire in Lebanon has not collapsed, and we are convinced that both Israel and Hezbollah are committed to preserving the agreement."
He further explained, "We have 60 days to strengthen the stability of the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon, which remains our focus. Additionally, we have imposed sanctions on several individuals and institutions in Israel for their involvement in acts of violence against civilians in the West Bank."
