U.S. State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller announced on Monday that U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke with his British counterpart, David Cameron.
Miller said on his X-platform page that the two sides discussed developments in the Middle East, efforts to improve aid delivery to civilians in Gaza, and maritime security in the Red Sea.
This comes as Houthi-affiliated media reported that U.S. and British aircraft carried out airstrikes targeting areas of Al-Zaidiyah, Ras Issa in Hodeidah, and east of the city of Saada in Yemen.
