Tel Aviv: In a pivotal move to address the escalating conflict in Gaza, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Tel Aviv today for high-stakes discussions. Prior to leaving Saudi Arabia, Blinken emphasized the need for de-escalation in the region and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

“It is in no one’s interest to see this conflict escalate,” Blinken stated in a press briefing. He highlighted the critical necessity of working towards peace and preventing further regional conflict.

Blinken also underscored the importance of Palestinian governance in both Gaza and the West Bank. He expressed his intention to urge Israel to intensify efforts to protect civilians amidst the ongoing tensions.
