US Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in the Belgian capital, Brussels, on Wednesday for urgent talks with European leaders to expedite aid to Ukraine.
According to US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller, Blinken is scheduled to meet with NATO and European Union officials during his visit to discuss support for Ukraine in its defense against the Russian military operation, as reported by Al-Hurra News Channel.
This visit comes amid growing anxiety in Ukraine following statements made by US President-elect Donald Trump during his campaign, suggesting a potential halt to aid for Kyiv. The United States is Ukraine’s largest provider of military support.
