Variety announced, on Saturday, 21 November, BLACKPINK as “Group of the Year” for 2020, marking their first time claiming the title, they would be honored in next month special program.
The special program is set to honor the award recipients who would be featured in their upcoming annual Hitmakers issue.
Along with BLACKPINK, Harry Styles also will be awarded as he has been named "Hitmaker of the Year", in addition to J Balvin, who will be taking home "Collaborator of the Year Award", and Roddy Ricch will be awarded for “Breakthrough Artist of the Year”.
The presenters will include 100 Gecs, Justin Bieber, Sheryl Crow, Niall Horan, Zane Lowe, Tyga, and Ty Dolla $ign.
Variety’s “Hitmakers” program will be streamed simultaneously on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube on December 3 at 8 p.m. ET.
