Bitcoin's Founder "Satoshi Nakamoto" Statue Unveiled in Budapest

A bronze Statue of legendary Bitcoin founder "Satoshi Nakamoto" was unveiled to public at Graphisoft Park in the Hungarian Capital "Budapest".

At Thursday's ceremony, András Győrfi, co-founder of the statue project and editor-in-chief of the crypto Akademia said, before revealing the bright face of Satoshi, that whoever he or she is, Bitcoin creates value, and especially the technology behind it, the block-chain, creates value,” Győrfi added.

The upper half statue shows a character with a blank face wearing a hoodie with the Bitcoin logo.

Debreczeni Barnabás, CEO of Hungarian crypto exchange Shinrai also spoke at the event, adding: “Nakamoto has created an independent fund that is free of any intermediaries that give people financial sovereignty. We made this statue to remind ourselves of courage as a virtue. We need to keep dreaming big."
