Democratic Joe Biden won Arizona, on Thursday, making Democrats succeed in winning the presidential election in Arizona, for the second time in 7 decades, which was considered one of the strongholds of the Republicans.
Biden succeeded in winning the Arizona votes, with the delegates 11 electoral college votes, according to the Addison Research Center on Friday.
His victory in Arizona, the state of late Senator John McCain, came by 11,000 votes, about 0.3 percent, after announcing his victory in the presidential elections.
He has already 290 votes in the electoral college, 20 more than the 270 votes required to win the election.
"Maricopa County won the state of Arizona for Mark Kelly and Joe Biden," Steven Slugocki, chair of Maricopa County's Democrats, said. "Here in Maricopa, we committed our resources to contact voters of color, women and traditionally underrepresented groups throughout the state. Our strategy proved to be effective."
"This year was a victory for the decade-plus of work in this state," Laura Dent, the executive director of Chispa Arizona, said. "It has been a decade-plus of building and the sustained work of organizing between electoral cycles have been critical."
On the other hand, Trump has not admitted defeat yet, even after five days when the “Edison Center” and major media outlets declared that the Democratic candidate had exceeded the 270 votes required from the electoral college to win the presidency.
