Trump spoke about that drug positively more than once.
On the other hand, another drug, which is “Paxlovid”, is called Biden’s medicine,” as it was announced that the current US president relied on it when he was infected with the virus.
“Remdesivir” is no longer widely used, due to its inability to withstand new variants of the virus. But “Paxlovid” has become the most widely used drug currently. Indeed, a recent American study recommended providing large quantities of it, as it is the most important weapon this winter.
The United States and Europe are currently afraid of the repercussions of the so-called "triple epidemic", which leads to increased pressure on hospital beds, due to an unusual increase in the number of infections with influenza and respiratory syncytial viruses, in conjunction with a significant increase in the number of "Covid-19" infections.
