On his inauguration day, next Wednesday, US President-elect Joe Biden will sign executive orders relating to decisions issued by his predecessor Donald Trump, in addition to other orders aimed at dealing with the Coronavirus pandemic and the deterioration of the US economy.
12 executive orders will be signed immediately after the inauguration of Biden, as the crises in the country require urgent action, according to the vision of the new president, who enters the White House in a difficult atmosphere.
Biden is expected to sign an executive order that would allow his country to return to the Paris climate agreement, contrary to the vision of his predecessor, a step he promised repeatedly during his election campaigns.
The new president will also sign the cancellation of the ban on entry of citizens from dozens of countries into American lands.
Biden will also sign an executive order requiring wearing masks in federal institutions and in transportation means, the decision which Trump has previously refrained from taking.
Biden also intends to accelerate the Coronavirus vaccination campaign against in his country.
