US President-elect Joe Biden will nominate Antony Blinken as the secretary of state, according to Bloomberg.

Blinken is a longtime Biden confidant who served as No. 2 at the State Department and as deputy national security adviser in President Barack Obama’s administration, in which Biden served as vice president.

Moreover, according to a number of media outlets, Biden will pick Jake Sullivan to be U.S. national security adviser.

Biden’s transition team declined to comment. Neither Blinken nor Sullivan responded to requests for comment.

It is worth mentioning, Biden is going to announce the appointments of the upcoming cabinet on Tuesday according to the incoming White House chief of staff Ron Klain.

“If you want to know what cabinet agencies they are, who’s going to be in those Cabinet agencies, you’ll have to wait for the president-elect to say that himself on Tuesday,” Klain said in an interview with ABC News.
