US President Joe Biden will meet Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al Kadhimi on Monday, media agencies reported on Saturday.
Jen Psaki, White House Press Secretary, said that the US hopes to enhance bilateral ties with Iraq on various levels including, political, economic, and security fields.
The upcoming meeting is the fourth round of talks between both countries about the withdrawal of US military troops from Iraq.
In the same context, Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein asserted that Kadhimi will handle the US-Iraqi ties and the ending of all American military bases in the state.
Moreover, sources told media agencies there is a plan for scheduling the complete withdrawal of the US troops in addition to preventing them from partaking in any missions inside the Iraqi lands until the end of the year.
