On Tuesday, the US President-Elect Joe Biden delivered a speech after the electoral college vote made his win official. In his speech, Biden hailed American democracy and the Americans' will.

“Once again in America, the rule of law, our Constitution and the will of the people prevailed,” the President-Elect asserted; adding, "Our democracy — pushed, tested, threatened — proved to be resilient, true and strong."

Furthermore, Biden attacked Trump's repudiation of the primary results of the US elections last month, "the election should be celebrated, not attacked,” Biden commented.

He added, "At the time, President Trump called the Electoral College tally a landslide. By his own standards, these numbers represented a clear victory then,” asserting his respect to the law and results.

It is worthy to mention that the latest US elections registered the highest voter turnout in 100 years.

Moreover, Biden added: “The Court sent a clear signal to President Trump and his allies that they would be no part of this unprecedented assault on our democracy.”

Finally, Biden revealed that he is on the side of peaceful transition of power, The US “always set the example for the world for the peaceful transition of power.”

Hours ago, the Electoral College decisively confirmed Joe Biden on Monday as the nation’s next president, ratifying his November victory in an authoritative state-by-state repudiation of President Donald Trump’s refusal to concede he had lost.

The presidential electors gave Biden a solid majority of 306 electoral votes to Trump’s 232, the same margin that Trump bragged was a landslide when he won the White House four years ago.
