US President Joe Biden said on Saturday that his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin "cannot stay in power", in a speech in the Polish capital Warsaw in which he addressed the conflict in Ukraine.
He concluded his speech by saying, "We will have a different future, a brighter future rooted in democracy, principle, hope, and light... For God's sake, this man cannot stay in power," according to Agence France-Presse (AFP)
In the same speech he delivered at the Royal Castle in Warsaw, Biden reiterated that the United States did not want to enter into a conflict with the Russian forces that invaded Ukraine.
But warned the Russians: "Do not even think of advancing an inch into NATO territory."
"There is no doubt that this war has become a strategic failure for Russia," he added.
