Japanese Prime Minister (PM) Yoshihide Suga is likely to meet U.S. President Joe Biden on April 9, Japan's Yomiuri newspaper reported.
Suga is the first foreign leader to meet the U.S. president at the White House in Washington.
The newspaper said, without citing its sources, that the two leaders are expected to agree to strengthen the bilateral alliance and their commitment to freedom of passage in the Indian and Pacific oceans.
