Greek Prime Minister (PM) Kyriakos Mitsotakis will hold official talks with US President Joe Biden, at the White House, in Washington D.C., later today, Monday.
Their talks are set to tackle the strategic partnership between US and Greece, as well as the ongoing Russian military operation in Ukraine, according to Greek government sources.
Moreover, the sources added that Mitsotakis is also expected to raise the issue of energy in Europe and delinking from Russian imports of oil and natural gas, in addition to addressing the key US investments in Greece.
It is scheduled that, Biden and his wife will host a reception, following their meeting at the White House, for the Greek PM and his spouse, to mark the 200th anniversary of the Greek War of Independence.
