US President Joe Biden expressed his sincere condolences to victims of Brazilian floods, stressing that United States (US) stands with the Brazilian government and its people in this difficult circumstance.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of life and destruction caused by the floods in Brazil,” Biden said in a statement published by the White House on Sunday.
The US President added that Washington is working to provide the necessary assistance to the Brazilian people, in coordination with the Brazilian authorities who are leading response efforts in the areas affected by the floods.
