U.S. President Joe Biden congratulated NASA experts on the launching of the James Webb telescope, calling the project a risky endeavor.

Moreover, Vice President Kamala Harris made sure to convey her sincere congratulations, stating that the launching is an important moment in history.

The James Webb Space Telescope lifted off atop an Ariane 5 rocket earlier on Saturday. It took place from Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana.
