US President Joe Biden arrived in Italy on Wednesday to participate in the G7 Summit, which will be held in Apulia, in the southeast of the country.
The G7 Summit talks will be dominated by the topics of supporting Ukraine in its war against Russia and ways to achieve a ceasefire in the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
The presidential plane, Air Force One, landed at Brindisi Airport, where Biden boarded the presidential helicopter, Marine One, for a short trip to Borgo Egnazia, the luxurious coastal resort located in Apulia.
The resort will host the leaders of the G7 and others from around the world from Thursday to Saturday.
