US President Joe Biden said that what is happening in Ukraine is genocide, and evidence of that is increasing, according to the Al-Arabiya channel, in an urgent news story a while ago.
Biden and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed the "destabilizing" repercussions of Russia's war against Ukraine, with a particular focus on global food supplies.
This came, according to what the White House published on its website, during a virtual meeting between Biden and Modi to open the US-India ministerial dialogue in a "2 + 2" format.
The two sides affirmed, according to the statement, their joint commitment, as leaders of the largest democracies in the world, to respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries in the Indo-Pacific region and beyond.
Biden and Modi also reiterated their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations through cooperation in clean energy and technology, military cooperation, and expanding economic and people-to-people ties.
