CAIRO, Sept. 30 (SEE) - Oranges are considered as one of the best food, which could be listed in the dietary of diabetics patients, Dr. Hesham El Amry said.

This is because the level of sugar in the oranges isn't high in addition they contain high percents of fiber, Vitamin C, and minerals like thiamine which helps in controlling the level of sugar in the blood.

Compared with the other food, oranges are low-sugar food. They slowly release glucose in blood and contribute to reducing weight, Amry explained.

Oranges effectively remove all side effects which could accompany the disease.

Eating one orange or one half daily could maintain the percentage of sugar in your blood in case of its regularity. But keep in mind that drinking orange juice won't provide you the same benefit because it doesn't contain the fibers you need to feel stuffed.
