Ben Gvir: Israeli Army’s Approach in Gaza Must Be Changed, The Defense Minister Is “Confused”

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir criticized Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, describing him as "confused."

Ben Gvir said in a tweet on his account on the “X” platform, “The Minister of Defense is confused. "Instead of supporting the settlers in the West Bank, Galant only continues the destruction and demolition operations,” as he put it.

Ben Gvir added that the Israeli army's method of war, which he described as "flexible," needs to be changed.

Gallant had previously stated that the war in Gaza would be "a long and difficult war, with high costs."

Ben Gvir repeatedly declared his opposition to any humanitarian truce in Gaza, and also strongly criticized any prisoner exchange deal with Hamas.

It is noteworthy that Ben Gvir is considered one of the extremist voices in Israel that demand the crushing of Hamas at any cost, even if it costs the death of thousands of Palestinian civilians and the destruction of Gaza.
