American Model Bella Hadid visited the Turkish House in New York yesterday, Friday, to show solidarity with those affected by the earthquake in Turkiye and to contribute to relief.
Haded was received by the Consul of Turkiye, Rehan Ozgur.
She provided parcels of aid to those affected by the earthquake and expressed her full solidarity with the hit-quake country and sympathy for the victims who lost their homes and relatives as a result of the disaster.
The 26-year-old was disguised in glasses and a headscarf as she volunteered to help, carrying a large box of supplies.
Hadid shared with her followers by posting a post on her Instagram account, which includes a group of photos of her participation in supporting the earthquake victims and her visit to the Turkish House in New York, and wrote what it means: "Diaper blankets and sleeping bags 🇹🇷 🇸🇾".
The "Daily Mail Online" account on Twitter also published an article about the model’s participation in disguise while she was helping volunteers who participated in transporting aid in the Turkish House, and wrote what it means: “Bella Hadid goes incognito as she donates humanitarian aid for earthquake survivors in Turkey.”
Hadid revealed her great admiration for Turkiye among the countries of the world, and she also took a picture with the volunteers who contribute to collecting donations for those affected and confirmed her willingness to provide any kind of assistance to those affected by the quake.
Her efforts come just days after a new 6.4-magnitude earthquake also hit parts of Turkiye and Syria after it was devastated by the first quake, which killed about 45,000 people.
