Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo announced that his country had taken a decision to ban the entry of extremist Israeli settlers into its territory.

In statements to the Al-Arabiya channel on Friday, De Croo expressed his hope that other European countries would follow his country’s example.

He added that he knows that a number of European nationals reside in the settlements of the occupied West Bank.

He stressed that Belgium's position is clear in this regard, as it condemns what is happening in the West Bank.

De Croo continued to say that his country's position is identical to the position of the United States."

He said that Belgium took a clear position and demanded an end to the massacres in Gaza and it also called on all parties to respect the rules of international humanitarian law.

It is noteworthy that the European Union condemned the increase in settler violence since the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7.
