Chinese Foreign Minister (FM) Wang Yi said, Sunday, that China and Russia will never recognize the policy of brute force and unipolar hegemony.
This came during his meeting with Russian Ambassador to Beijing Igor Morgulov.
"China and Russia jointly advocate a multipolar world and do not recognize unipolar hegemony," the Russian news agency 'TASS' quoted Wang Yi as saying.
He added that the two countries "resolutely defend the system of international relations with the United Nations playing the central role, which is a global system based on international law. They reject the politics of brute force."
The Chinese FM also welcomed the appointment of Morgulov as Russia's ambassador to his country and promised ultimate support for him.
