Syrian actor Bassel Khaiat's TV series "Zel" (Shadow), will no longer screen during the Ramadan 2021 drama marathon.
Media Revolution7, the producing company behind the series, temporally suspend the production despite filming began ten days ago in Beirut due to the Lebanon ban.
On Sunday, the producing company decided to halt the production indefinitely.
The series is based on the idea by Seif Reda Hamed and written by Zuhair Rami Al Mulla.
It also stars Youssef El Khal, Ghassan Massoud, Jessy Abdo, Haya Maraachli, and others.
On the other hand, Khaiat is making a comeback to the Syrian TV drama with TV series “Keid Maghol”, which is set to be premiered on a streaming service in the coming period.
The series is written by Mohammed Abu Laban, directed by Sudair Masoud and Liwa Yazji. It is a thriller and suspense genre and consists of 8 episodes
“Keid Maghol” also stars Abdel Moneim Amiry, Ehab Shaaban, Nazli Al Rawas, and others.
The series is produced by Mohammad Mashish, who produced many famous Egyptian productions such as “Grand Hotel”, “Tareeqy”, “La tutafiy alshams”, “Halawt Al-Dunia”, “Hadha almasa”, and “Hajar Gohanam”.
