Egypt's ambassador to Rome Bassam Rady conveyed a message from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to Italian President Sergio Mattarella, regarding the development of bilateral relations between the two countries, and a number of issues of joint cooperation at the regional and international levels.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, on its official page on (Facebook), today, Wednesday, that this came after a meeting between the Italian President and Rady, at the Republican Palace in Rome.
Ambassador Bassam Rady said that the Italian president asked him to convey his greetings to President Sisi, and expressed his deep appreciation for his wise leadership of Egypt, the pivotal country in the Mediterranean region, which has important contributions within the framework of regional security.
Rady also expressed his aspiration for joint work with the Italian side, to increase the mutual visits at various levels in the coming period, and support the Egyptian-Italian relations and cooperation in all fields in the coming period.
