More celebrities are testing positive for Coronavirus after attending the 4th Edition of El Gouna Film Festival (GFF), which ran from Oct. 23 – Oct 31, in El Gouna resort town, Red Sea Governorate.
The festival management was keen to adhere to Coronavirus measures and successfully concluded the edition peacefully.
GFF was the first artistic event to be held after the Coronavirus crisis has emerged.
However, news began to circulate about a large number of festival guests contracted the virus.
Some of the infected began to announce the news. Famous Egyptian Rapper Wegz announced on November 3rd via Instagram that he tested positive for COVID-19, followed by Screenwriter Reem El Adl and rising Egyptian actress Sarrah Abdelrahman declaring their infection on Wednesday.

Celebrities began to get themselves tested for the virus following Wegz, El Adl, and Abdelrahman declaring their infection.
Egyptian actress, Basma declared on Thursday via Facebook that she has contracted the Coronavirus.
She revealed that she had been completely isolated for more than a week, after undergoing tests, and despite this, she has not yet felt any symptoms.
Basma revealed that she did not share that has tested positive for Coronavirus through social media was due that she alerted all those came in contact with her, and therefore she did not find it important to announce the matter.
"I am writing this post now, to thank all the people who asked about me. God willing, very soon my result will turn negative, thanks to everyone," she concluded.
Furthermore, rising Egyptian actress, Zainab Gharib, known for her role in TV series "Bi 100 Wesh", had also declared via Instagram stories that she had contracted the Coronavirus.
Gharib called on all those in contact with her to take the necessary precautions.
