After a surprising step of expelling the Israeli ambassador from Bahrain and recalling its ambassador from Tel Aviv, Bahraini parliamentarians are seeking to end the Abrahamic Agreement once and for all, as well as severing any relations with the Israeli side.

The move was revealed by a member of the Bahraini Parliament, MP Mamdouh Al-Saleh, who confirmed that members of Parliament are pressing to end the “Abrahamic Agreement” while describing it as an “occupying state.”

The Bahraini Parliament confirmed, earlier, that "the Israeli ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain has left Manama, and the Kingdom of Bahrain decided to return the Bahraini ambassador from Israel to the country."

On the other hand, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed, yesterday evening, Thursday, that relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain are “stable.”

The Israeli Foreign Ministry said, in a statement, that “it was not informed by the government of Bahrain or the Israeli government of any decision to withdraw the ambassadors,” stressing the stability of relations between the two countries. This is what the parliamentarian described as an attempt to mislead public opinion.
