Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa will begin a visit to Italy on Monday, where he will meet with Pope Francis, Italian President Sergio Mattarella, and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
They are scheduled to discuss the implications of Israeli war on Gaza Strip, and working to halt the military escalation, as well as advancing efforts towards a comprehensive and just peace process in the Middle East.
Bahraini King's meetings with Italian officials will also address the strong bilateral relations and regional and international issues of common interest.
