Bahrain welcomed the agreement reached between Egypt and Turkyie to upgrade diplomatic relationship between both countries to the level of ambassadors.
In a statment, Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered the agreement "a positive and constructive step that would contribute to strengthening bilateral cooperation in the service of common interests within the framework of mutual respect and the rules of international law, and it would also help maintaining security and stability in the region."
It is worth mentioning that, Egypt and Türkiye announce the upgrading of diplomatic relations between them to the level of ambassadors.
Egypt has nominated Amr Elhamamy to become its ambassador in Ankara while Türkiye has nominated Salih Mutlu Şen to become its ambassador in Cairo.
The upgrade of diplomatic relations between the two countries comes in implementation of the decision of the two Presidents.
