His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain held an expanded session of talks with His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, who is on an official visit to the Kingdom.
The two monarchs affirmed the commitment to continue joint action to develop the strong bilateral relations in various fields.
In a speech delivered during the session, reported by the official Bahrain News Agency (BNA) today, Friday, the King of Bahrain stated that the Kingdoms of Malaysia and Bahrain share a common call for establishing peace in the Gaza Strip, ensuring the entry of humanitarian aid and reconstruction, and supporting the two-state solution as the only path to achieving lasting peace in the Middle East.
King Hamad added, "We have significant opportunities for cooperation and exchange of expertise in sectors such as banking, financial technology, tourism, agriculture, and infrastructure development."
