The state-owned agency did not disclose the type of vaccine the king received, but in early December, the Health and Professional Services Regulatory Authority in Bahrain approved the emergency use of the Covid-19 vaccine by the companies "Pfizer" and "BioNtech" to become the second country that allows that vaccine globally.
Moreover, in the middle of this month, Bahrain approved the Chinese "Sinopharma" vaccine and launched online registration for citizens and residents to receive it.
