Syrian President Bashar al-Assad received a written message from Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The message included an official invitation to participate in the 33rd regular session of Arab League council at the summit level, which will be held on May 16 in the Bahraini capital, Manama.
The invitation was handed to President al-Assad by Bahraini Ambassador in Damascus, Waheed Mubarak Sayyar.
