Three days before the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, Bafana Bafana national team arrived in Egypt on Tuesday to take part in the tournament, to be held in Egypt from 21 June to 19 July.
Public relations at Cairo International Airport received South Africa's football team with flowers.
They are in group D alongside Ivory Coast, Morocco, and Namibia. They are looking for their second title, as the Bafana Bafana won their only trophy in 1996 showpiece tournament, hosted by South Africa, after beating Tunisia 2-0 in the final game
The One-time title holders will begin their mission on Monday, June 24 against Ivory Coast Al Salam Stadium at 16:30 pm (CLT).
It is worth mentioning that Stuart Baxter, head coach of Bafana Bafana, named on Sunday, June 10 his 23-man squad for the upcoming AFCON.
