Tomorrow, the Eid vacation comes to an end, along with its days that witnessed joy, delight, family gatherings, outings, and picnics... We return to offices, meetings, computers, and traffic congestion.
We ask ourselves: How did the vacation pass so quickly? How did we go from joyful Eid nights and family gatherings to our work, schools, and exams, as life takes us once more into the whirlwind of its daily responsibilities.
This "confused" feeling on the first day of work after a vacation is very normal. We gave the vacation its due, and we "disconnected" our minds from the stresses of life to rest and recharge with family love and the warmth of Eid.
But this is the life; it grants us moments of rest, and then we continue the journey. This year's return is not just to our work and offices, but it also comes amidst a world full of crises and challenges. Will the drums of war return to impose themselves once again? And will peace efforts succeed in giving the peoples of the region a chance to catch their breath after long years of tension and conflict?
At the same time, we pray to God that the pilgrims of the Holy House of God return safely to their homelands, carrying with them the most beautiful memories and sincere prayers for goodness and peace. The wheel of life continues to turn, and the summer season begins, bringing with it plans, dreams, and new projects, while Egypt continues its march of building, development, work, and mega-projects.
To make the transition from the Eid atmosphere to the reality of work happens smoothly, we must start our day with a cup of coffee and listen to our colleagues and their stories about the days of Eid and the vacation. These simple details are not a waste of time; rather, they are the human bridge that makes us accept the return to work with a good spirit.
In the end, feasts do not end with the conclusion of the vacation. They provide us with an energy of joy and support with which we recharge our souls throughout the year, and they are the fuel that gives us the strength to resume life's journey. It is only a matter of days before the summer vacations begin, but work, in the end, is our mission in life, the place of our achievement, and the source of our pride.
Welcome back to the field of giving, I wish you all success and happy returns.
