Azerbaijan Invites Jordanian King to Attend COP29

Jordanian King Abdullah II received a written message from Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, which included an invitation to participate in The 29th Conference of the Parties on Climate Change (COP 29) will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from November 11 to 22, 2024.

During his meeting with Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov, Jordanian King conveyed his greetings to President Aliyev, wishing Azerbaijan and its people further progress and prosperity.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the defense field, as well as developments in the region, most notably the dangerous situation in Gaza.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Jordanian Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Al-Hunaiti.
