Austria has reiterated its support for the expansion of the European Union, with Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger praising North Macedonia’s progress toward EU membership.
Following a meeting with North Macedonian Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski in Vienna, Meinl-Reisinger emphasized the strategic importance of integrating the Western Balkans into the EU to strengthen security and stability across Europe.
Both ministers highlighted the need to enhance political and economic cooperation within the framework of European integration, reinforcing Austria’s commitment to a stronger and more unified Europe.
