Austria Condemns N.Korea's Launch of Ballistic Missiles

Austria categorically condemned a new launch of ballistic missiles by North Korea toward Japan and South Korea.

In a statement, the Austrian Foreign Ministry called on Pyongyang to immediately stop these provocations.

Moreover, the ministry affirmed Austria's full solidarity with its partners in Seoul and Tokyo.

It is worth mentioning that, European Union (EU) strongly condemned North Korea's launch of a long-range missile, stressing that it constitutes a dangerous and reckless act that threatens international and regional peace and security.

 In a press release, the European Union's External Action Service stated that this matter shows that North Korea's nuclear and missile program threatens all countries around the world and requires an appropriate response by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

Moreover, EU reiterated its call to North Korea to immediately stop launching ballistic missiles and to engage in constructive dialogue with the United States (US) and its southern neighbor.
