Australia's police arrested hundreds of protesters against the closedown in Milburn and Sydney today, Saturday.

Seven officers were injured in clashes with the angry demonstrators and hurried to hospitals.

According to Reuters", a news agency, Australia reported today the highest number of infections with the Coronavirus.

Police use pepper spray in Milburn to disperse about 4000 people who head to police lines in the city.

On the other hand, riot police prevented minor groups from gathering in Sydney.

Police of Victoria State revealed that they arrested 218 persons in Milburn, the local capital of the state and fined 236 persons, and held three people for assailing officers of the police.

The arrested people must pay 5452 Australian dollars ( $ 3900) because they violated the rules of public health.

However, police in New South Wales said that they accused 47 persons of violating orders of public health and breaking public peace among other crimes.

The detainees were fined $ 30 to 3000.

The police said that some 250 persons arrived in the city to take part in the protests.

It is worth noting that Sydney, the largest city in Australia with a population of five million people, was incumbent to strict isolation for two months.

Authorities of the city failed to check the disease in the bay which swept through the country and leaped to New Zealand, the neighboring country.

But Brad Hazard, local Minister of Health in the State, said that New South Wales faces a very dangerous situation.

He added that is time not to be egotist but citizens should think of the wider society and their families.

In Sydney, police banned public transport to downtown in an attempt to reduce protesters in an unlicensed protest and launched patrols to deal with the igniting situation.

In Milburn, the second populous city in the country, protesters clashed with police after Daniel Andrews, Prime Minister of the states, decided to close down the whole state.
