U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin arrived in Kuwait on Sunday evening, on behalf of US President Joe Biden to offer his condolences on the death of the late Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
The U.S. delegation was received at the airport by Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Ahmed Al-Fahad Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah and Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Al-Sabah.
