Severe storms and tornadoes have swept across five central US states, killing at least 50 people.

The newspaper added, quoting the Kentucky Governor, that dozens of workers were killed in a candle factory in the state of Kentucky, noting that the death toll may exceed 50 people out of 110 people who were in the factory when the tornadoes struck.

In Arkansas, at least one person was killed and 5 were injured after a tornado hit a care center.

In Illinois, one of the warehouses of the American company “Amazon” had several casualties after the roof of the warehouse fell and its walls collapsed due to the tornado.
